1. Who we are
This website is operated by Raga Tech Source Private Limited (“Raga Tech Source”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company incorporated in India with its registered office in Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. We operate the platforms SkilnQ (training and upskilling), WillnQ (jobs and careers) and iConnect (HR platform).
For personal data we collect for our own purposes, we are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). This policy also meets our obligations under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, to the extent they apply.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy covers personal data we process when you visit ragatechsource.com or contact Raga Tech Source by email, phone, LinkedIn or in person.
- Our platforms. willnq.com and any other platform we operate may have its own privacy policy. Where it does, that policy governs your use of the platform, and this policy covers everything else.
- iConnect for employers. When an organization uses iConnect to manage its own employees, that organization decides why and how its employees’ data is processed and is the Data Fiduciary for it. We act as its Data Processor and process that data only on its instructions and under our agreement with it. Employees should contact their employer first about their HR records.
- Training enrolments and placements. If you enrol in a program or use our placement services, your enrolment form or agreement may give further details. Those details add to this policy.
3. Personal data we collect

Please do not send us sensitive information we have not asked for, such as financial account details, passwords, health information or government identity numbers. If we need any such information for a service, we will tell you why and ask for your consent first.

We use personal data only for the purpose it was collected for, or for a closely related purpose you would reasonably expect. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
5. Consent and withdrawal
Where we rely on consent, we ask for it in clear terms for a specific purpose. You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to contact@ragatechsource.com. Withdrawal does not affect anything we lawfully did before it. After you withdraw, we stop the related processing within a reasonable time, unless the law requires or permits us to continue. Some services, such as placement support, cannot continue without the data they depend on.
6. Who we share data with
- Prospective employers, when you have asked us to help you find a job and have agreed to your profile being shared.
- Our own platforms (SkilnQ, WillnQ and iConnect), all of which are part of Raga Tech Source, where needed to provide the service you asked for. For example, your SkilnQ training record can support your WillnQ profile if you choose.
- Service providers who act as our Data Processors, such as website hosting, email and IT support providers. They may process data only on our instructions and must protect it.
- Training and certification partners, where a program you enrol in involves certification or a government-recognized scheme, to the extent needed to register or certify you.
- Authorities, when we are required to by law, a court order or a lawful government request, or to protect the rights, safety or property of people or of Raga Tech Source.
- A successor business, if Raga Tech Source is reorganized, merged or sold. The new owner must continue to protect your data in line with this policy.
This website links to other websites, including LinkedIn, Google Maps and willnq.com. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
7. Cookies and tracking
This website does not currently set cookies, use analytics or advertising trackers, or load content from third-party servers. Our fonts and scripts are served from our own website. If we introduce cookies or analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
8. Storage and international transfers
We store personal data with reputable service providers. Some of them may process data outside India. Any transfer outside India is made in line with the DPDP Act, including any restrictions the Government of India places on transfers to particular countries, and with safeguards that protect your data.
9. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. After that, we erase it, unless we must keep it longer to comply with law, resolve disputes or enforce agreements. As a guide:
- Enquiries that do not lead to a service are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact.
- Learner, candidate and employer records are kept while the relationship is active, and afterwards for the period required by law, for example for tax, accounting and certification records.
- Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes, or longer where the law requires.
If you have not engaged with us or exercised your rights for a long period, we may erase your data once its purpose has been met. Where the law requires it, we will tell you before we do.
10. Security and data breaches
We use reasonable security practices and procedures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, use, change, disclosure and loss. These include encrypted connections to this website, access controls that limit data to people who need it, and confidentiality obligations on our staff and service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a personal data breach occurs, we will act promptly to contain it. We will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as required by the DPDP Act and the rules made under it.
11. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access information: get a summary of the personal data we hold about you, how we process it, and who we have shared it with.
- Correction and erasure: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed or updated, and have data erased when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent at any time, as described in section 5.
- Grievance redressal: have complaints about how we handle your data addressed by us.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapable.
To exercise a right, email contact@ragatechsource.com with the subject “Personal data request”. We may need to verify your identity before we act on your request. We aim to respond within 30 days, and will in any case respond within the time limits set by law.
12. Children
Some of our training programs are open to students who may be under 18. Under the DPDP Act, we process the personal data of anyone under 18 only with the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. If you are under 18, please ask your parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf. We do not track children or show them targeted advertising. If we learn that we have collected a child’s data without that consent, we will delete it.
13. Your duties
The DPDP Act also places duties on individuals. When you share data with us or exercise your rights, please give accurate and authentic information, do not impersonate anyone, and do not file false or frivolous complaints.

We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or when the law changes. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Where a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will tell you directly where we can and ask for fresh consent where the law requires it.
